I had a nasty fall down the stairs of my house, where I injured my shoulder. The pain was debilitating to the point where I was unable to use my arm.Dr. Kilcoyne surgically repaired my damaged rotator cuff and re-attached a torn bicep tendon in December 2025. After 3 months of physical therapy and twice daily shoulder exercises, my shoulder is back to normal. I have full use with no pain.

Dr. Kilcoyn is a talented surgeon and physician. In 2024 I broke my right wrist and dislocated a bone. Dr. K fixed the problem without surgery. A few months later, I broke my left wrist! This one required surgery, and he very quickly fit me into his surgery schedule. I experienced a rapid recovery. All done and back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. K and the crew. They provide excellent and compassionate care.

I am writing to highly recommend Dr. Kelly Kilcoyne who performed my shoulder surgery for rotator cuff repair. He uses a product called Regeneton, a biological product , for the repair. I specifically looked for a surgeon who used this product because of its properties of healing the tissue and the much reduced time I needed to be in a sling. I was also virtually pain free post surgery. Additionally the physical therapist is amazed at how much range of motion I have attained only one month post op.

Dr. Kilcoyne performed an arthroscopic glenoid reconstruction with labral repair on me. Prior to the surgery I was suffering from constant dislocations and pain. I was unable to perform my job as an Infantry Officer. Following the surgery, my shoulder is more stable than it has been in years and the pain is nearly all gone. Dr. Kilcoyne has been amazing throughout the entire process; answering any questions I've had and laid out the entire surgery and recovery process for me. Thanks to Dr. Kilcoyne I'm now on track to continue my military career.

Dr. Kilcoyne performed my Total Shoulder Replacement. He did an amazing job. His method was exactly what I was looking for - anatomic replacement, stemless, with an osteotomy to gain access to the joint. Even the tenodesis was absolutely the right answer for me. My recovery was much faster than expected and my pain level was pretty much non-existent. I could not recommend him more highly and plan on him replacing my other shoulder when it is time!

I had reconstructive rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder in 2003. It began to fail in 2016 and completely failed in Spring of 2023. Dr, Kilcoyne performed a reverse shoulder replacement in August 2023. I am totally satisfied with the results. I have greater flexibility than I expected, and my strength is rapidly returning. I am now practicing putting, pitching and chipping and expect to be golfing by late Spring. Great Doctor. Sorry to see that he is leaving active Military Service and Walter Reed Military Hospital but glad to see that he is staying in the area should I ever need him for my other shoulder.

Dr. Kilcoyne performed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on my right shoulder in April 2022. Because of the wonderful success of that shoulder replacement, he performed a reverse shoulder replacement surgery on my left shoulder in September 2023. I'm still in physical therapy on my left shoulder, but already I have much improved range of motion and no pain! These two shoulder replacement surgeries have greatly improved my quality of life!! I highly recommend Dr. Kilcoyne's surgical skills!!

Dr. Kilcoyne performed arthroscopic surgery, capsular release on my elbow. My elbow was suffering from some calcification and mechanical blockages which were causing me pain and significantly limiting my range of motion. He was very knowledgeable, professional and made me feel at ease and well informed throughout the process. Post surgery, my range of motion has increased drastically and is improving by the day. I had originally wanted to avoid surgery but am now glad I did. I truly appreciate what Dr. Kilcoyne was able to do and his demeanor throughout made it as positive of an experience as one could hope for, for someone needing surgery on an elbow. Thanks again!
