HealthgradesSix months and ecstatic about the results from my rotator cuff repair and bicep tenodesis. Dr. Kilcoyne did an excellent job repairing a full tear of my rotator cuff. He was thorough in communicating the results of my MRI and what would be needed to repair the damage. Good follow up post surgery and directing the initial steps for rehabbing my shoulder and bicep. The Annapolis office is one of few the medical offices where you are seen shortly after your arrival. I highly recommend this physician and practice. -

HealthgradesI am an extremely active older woman and after going to my primary physician and urgent care for most of my needs, I thankfully discovered the Annapolis Hand Shoulder Center practice. I have taken some falls, I have developed arthritis, and I have visited with both Dr. Nestie and Dr. Kilcoyne and have been so delighted with their knowledge, efficiency, friendliness, practicality, and treatment. If you have any hand to shoulder issue I strongly recommend you go to this practice and get their excellent care to address your needs. -

HealthgradesI had two major tears in my left rotator cup. None of the multiple doctors I consulted in Pennsylvania, Delaware or other parts of Maryland provided satisfactory medical advice. My research led me to Dr. Kelly Kilcoyne, MD. Dr. Kilcoyne took the time to patiently completely explain the damage to my rotator cup, what surgery was required to repair the condition and the rehabilitation process in a clear and concise matter. Dr. Kilcoyne's attentive professionalism and confidence that he could repair the damage, made me easy after months of seeking medical assistance. My surgery is complete, and I am confident that I will gain mobility to my arm. The professionalism exhibited by Dr. Kilcoyne carried over to his office and the surgery center. This level of medical care is a rarity today. I am grateful that I found Dr. Kilcoyne. -

HealthgradesDr. Kilcoyne initially performed surgery on my right shoulder at Walter Reed while I was on active duty. I suffered from osteoarthritis, and as I got older, the pain was just too unbearable just to perform routine tasks. I love to swim, and when I retired from the military, I wanted to continue swimming on a regular basis. Unfortunately, I developed crepitus and pain on my left shoulder, so I decided to look up Dr. Kilcoyne who was no longer at Walter Reed. He performed the same same surgery on my left shoulder (Reverse arthroscopic surgery). Now I swim freely without any pain. My Therapist commented that the surgeon did an excellent job! -

HealthgradesDr.Kilcoyne did an amazing job with my labrum repair. He explained everything for my surgery very well and I wasn’t worried at all. The surgery went very well, and my recovery was great. I’m a big rock climber and I’ve already started climbing just as hard as I was before my injury after only 6 months. Thank you Dr.Kilcoyne for the perfect job you did. -

HealthgradesDr. Kilcoyne performed my Total Shoulder Replacement. He did an amazing job. His method was exactly what I was looking for - anatomic replacement, stemless, with an osteotomy to gain access to the joint. Even the tenodesis was absolutely the right answer for me. My recovery was much faster than expected and my pain level was pretty much non-existent. I could not recommend him more highly and plan on him replacing my other shoulder when it is time! -

HealthgradesMy 11 year old son was referred to Dr. Kilcoyne for shoulder & elbow soreness (little league shoulder) from pitching. Dr. Kilcoyne was very knowledgeable, professional and great at answering any questions we had. He was able to help my son without needing surgery. Dr. Kilcoyne was able to give my son tips for stretching his arm prior to pitching and aftercare instructions once he had pitched. Dr. Kilcoyne also referred my son to a wonderful PT that worked with him for 8-weeks on getting his shoulder, elbow & arm back to the proper range of motion and proper throwing mechanics after months of arm rest. Thanks to Dr. Kilcoyne and the PT my son just started back pitching and is pain free! We truly appreciate everything Dr. Kilcoyne was able to do for my son and highly recommend him! If my son has any trouble in the future we will definitely return to Dr. Kilcoyne. -

HealthgradesDr. Kilcoyne with Annapolis Hand and Shoulder Center, was referred to me when I needed help with my shoulder. I was willing to do surgery only as a last resort and PRP treatment was an available option for me. If you are not familiar with this procedure, I recommend researching Platelet-rich Plasma. Dr Kilcoyne has an abundant experience injecting PRP and I am extremely pleased with the outcome! He knows what he is doing! My more recent wrist injury required surgery, but my complete faith in Dr Kilcoyne served me well. I am on my way to a complete recovery and grateful that we have such a talented and caring doctor here in Annapolis! -
