Krystal Federici, DPT, CHT
Certified Hand Therapist
Krystal graduated from Lee University with her Bachelors in Health Science in 2000, and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2005. She has treated patients in a variety of settings since then, including outpatient orthopedics, home health and acute care. Krystal became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2017. She has enjoyed working at the Annapolis Hand Center focusing on upper extremity rehabilitation, with the challenges and complexities of treating that region.
In her free time Krystal enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and enjoying local restaurants.
Amy Kitchens MSOTR/L, CHT
Certified Hand Therapist
A native Texan, Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 1999 and her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences in 2004 from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. She has focused her practice in out-patient hand therapy since 2000 and obtained her Certified Hand Therapy credential in 2007. With over 20 years of experience, Amy has served in both clinical and leadership roles at large hospital organizations, out-patient clinics, and private physician practices. She has experience in post-operative and post trauma hand therapy as well as conservative management of hand and upper extremity conditions. Her passion lies in individualizing each patients plan to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Amy is married and has two young daughters. She and her family moved to Southern Maryland in 2015 and have thoroughly enjoyed experiencing all four seasons and visiting many historical sites. When not in the clinic, Amy is busy raising her girls, staying fit, and decorating their home.
Olivia Portner OTR/L, CHT
Certified Hand Therapist
Olivia received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in 2018 and her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Georgia State University in 2020. She has practiced in outpatient orthopedics with a focus in treating conditions affecting the upper extremity since beginning her career. She has a passion for learning and obtained her Certified Hand Therapy Credential in 2024.
Olivia grew up in Annapolis and enjoys spending time with her family, indulging at local restaurants, and staying active with her dog, Sadie.
